Here at Glicnet we believe that despite what is advertised not everyone can build a good website. We have over 10 years experience and this shows in every project we work on.
We do:
- give the best possible service every time to every client
- build sites with valid html and css
- write code that is optimised for search engines
- give 24/7 support on all sites we build - our websites are never offline but if your site goes down you pay nothing for the month
- answer the phone every time - no need to press 9 to speak to a customer support agent!
We don't:
- do "off the shelf websites" - your site will be built uniquely for you.
- outsource to other providers/countries - we do Irish websites for Irish businesses
- use a wizard to create a site
- use Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal - we can if you want but to have full control and scalability we write our own code.
- just use all opensource - we may use some opensource to reduce costs but we believe you need to know how the engine works if you want to fix a car
- charge you the full amount or perhaps anything if you are not happy with the result (this has yet to happen)
Everyone who works for Glicnet is a seasoned programmer - we don't hire trainee or juniors and the person who you speak to will be the one building your site. If you are thinking of going with another company ask them:
- can they write complex programming solutions if required.
- can their solution grow to match the growing requirements of your business.
- would they know what to do if they had a denial of service attack
- ever had a site which had 150,000+ unique visitors over a few hours and remained online?
- created a site with 10,000+ products
- are they available by phone 24/7
